Cakifo 1.3

My free WordPress theme Cakifo has finally been updated to version 1.3.

Changes and new in version 1.3

  • Hybrid Core 1.3
  • 3.4-ready: The theme supports the new 3.4 features, including flexible header sizes (used for the logo)
  • Improved design
    • Much more contrast (especially the topbar and navigation!)
    • The reset CSS have been replaced by Normalize.css
    • Improved slider design
    • New image styles
    • And a lot more improvements

Youtube Profile Field updated to version 2.2

My WordPress plugin Youtube Profile Field has been updated to version 2.2

  • HUGE code improvements
  • The ypf_show_video() function now takes an array of options instead of parameters
  • Both the shortcode and template tag now accepts more arguments (see FAQ)
  • Updated documentation

Jayj.dk – 2011 in Review

2011 is slowly coming to an end. Happy New Year :)

I’d like to thank all of you who visited Jayj.dk in 2011 – You’re awesome!

2011 has been a great year, both for me personally and for this site, Jayj.dk. The site had a 300% increase in visits and a 306% increase in page views.

This blog started as a Danish blog but now I mostly blog on English because of my visitors from all over the world. Just 4.29% are from Denmark. I had 621.63 % more Spanish visitors than in 2010 and 706.48 % more Germans.

Japibas Version 2.0

Japibas Version 2.0

Two years ago I released my first free WordPress theme, Japibas. I’ve wanted to update in a long long time but never did it.. But it has finally been updated to version 2.0.

The new version has been completely rewritten – the code is much better. The markup is now HTML5 and design has been updated to use CSS3 instead of images, and oh; it’s responsive!

Some other new features

  • Multiple color schemes (Green, Blue & Red already included – Easy to add more)
  • Small Theme Options page (yep, that’s a feature)
  • Child theme friendly
  • 6 Widget-ready areas
  • Built-in pagination
  • Small set of useful shortcodes
  • Uses the built-in WordPress menu system
